Following on from my email last year when I advised that Adrian Smith had decided to relinquish the position of Regional Representative for the North West Region, I am delighted to announce that Beverly Kennealy has agreed to take over.

Many of you will already know Beverly from her days in Motor Department.  She is taking over with immediate effect.  Beverley will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role and benefits from knowing and already keeping in touch with a lot of ex-colleagues.

Beverly will be in touch with those of you who have provided details and she is also anxious to reach ex-colleagues who we have not seen for some years, so spread the word.

Her first job will be to organise the next event for Bolton, which I am pleased to advise is once again going to be subsidised by AXA Provincial Pensioners Association.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Adrian and his wife Julie for the fantastic job they have done since taking over from the late Derek Sutcliffe. I am pleased to say they will still be attending our events in future but without the added stress of organising them.

I am sure you will join me in wishing Beverly the best of luck and in supporting her at our future events.
